GSIS Mobile App for Clients of Vehicle Insurance Policy
GSIS – The Government Service Insurance System will launch a mobile app for the vehicle insurance policy-holders.
Currently, the threats of COVID-19 is still present in the Philippines. The country is just one of the over 200 nations and territories that recorded cases of the disease. The pandemic caused nations to go on lockdown to curb the spread of the disease.
In PH, community quarantine measures are still up until now. Everyone is encouraged to only go out for essential purposes like going to work or the buying of food.
It is now a national policy to wear a face mask when going outdoors. Also, social distancing must be practiced most especially in the public places.
For the safety of its members, the Government Service Insurance System will introduce two mobile app where it can deliver its services. It is one of the biggest social insurance institutions in the country with a lot of members.
One of the mobile apps is the GSIS Touch. It is like a mobile version of the EGSISMO and it also features the Citizen’s Charter and a directory of all the branches of the social insurance institution.
Aside from it, GSIS is set to launch a mobile app for the vehicle insurance policy-holders. According to the social insurance institution, members who have a vehicle insurance policy with the government agency may submit or send the photos of the accident through the said mobile app.
Also, claim documents may be submitted through the said online app. Members don’t anymore need to visit a branch of the social insurance institution personally.
