Pag-IBIG Fund is most popular for its housing loan offer but it also has several other beneficial loan offers. One of it is the multi-purpose cash loan or more commonly called the MPL cash loan.

There are requirements for MPL cash loan application. The lists of documents vary depending on the applicant’s source of income.

List of Requirements for Pag-IBIG MPL Cash Loan:

  • duly-accomplished Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form (MPLAF, HQP-SLF-065) in original copy
  • photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • Proof of Income:
    • For employed applicants…
      • “The ‘Certificate of Net Pay’ portion at the back of the application form must be accomplished by the employer or submit photocopy of one (1) month latest payslip duly authenticated by the company’s authorized signatory.”
    • For self-employed applicants…
      • one photocopy of ITR, Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registrant and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit
      • one original Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details (within the last 12 months)
      • If income is from foreign remittance, one (1) original copy of Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months
      • one (1) original copy of Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency
      • one (1) original copy of Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business
      • original Notarized Affidavit of Income (HQP-SLF-136)
    • For overseas Filipino workers (OFWs)
      • Employment Contract
        • one (1) photocopy of Employment Contract between employee and employer or original copy of POEA Standard Contract
      • Certificate of Employment and Compensation
        • original copy of CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead or an original copy of CEC signed by employer supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID and passport
      • original copy of Income Tax Return filed with Host Country/Government
