PAG-IBIG HOME IMPROVEMENT LOAN REQUIREMENTS – Here is a list of the documents that you must prepare and submit for application.
Are you planning to apply for a loan to Pag-IBIG Fund to finance the improvements that you want to do to your house? Whether it is the construction of a new room, extending the kitchen, building a lanai area, or installing solar panels, the government agency is one of the entities that you may turn to.

This loan offer is covered under the housing loan offer of Pag-IBIG Fund – which the government agency is mainly known for. With regards to the Pag-IBIG Home Improvement Loan requirements, here are the documents that you should prepare and submit in applying for the offer:
- Housing Loan Application with recent ID photo of borrower/co-borrower (if applicable) (2 copies, HQP-HLF-068/069)
- one (1) valid ID (Photocopy, back-to-back) of Principal Borrower and Spouse, Co-Borrower and Spouse
- Building Plans, Specification with Bill of Materials duly signed by the Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect
- proof of Income:
- If you are employed, submit any of the following:
- Certified One (1) Month Payslip, within the last three (3) months prior to
date of loan application - Notarized Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) for the year immediately preceding the
date of loan application, with attached BIR Form No. 2316, stamped
received by the BIR
- Certified One (1) Month Payslip, within the last three (3) months prior to
- If you are self-employed, submit any of the following:
- Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details
(for the last 12 months) - ITR, Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment
from bank supported with DTI Registration and Mayor’s
Permit/Business Permit - Copy of Lease Contract and Tax Declaration (if income is derived from
rental payments) - Certificate of Engagement issued by owner of business
- Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate
government agency (LGU for tricycles, LTFRB for other PUVs) - Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months
- Other document that would validate source of income
- Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details
- If you are an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), submit any of the following:
- Employment Contract
- Employment Contract between employee and employer; or
- POEA Standard Contract
- Income Tax Return filed with Host Country/Government
- Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead; or
- CEC signed by employer
- Employment Contract
- If you are employed, submit any of the following:
- Updated Real Estate Tax Receipt and Updated Tax Declaration and (photocopy), if applicable
Submit your documents to Pag-IBIG Fund for evaluation. Wait for an update from the government agency regarding the status of your loan application.
