Undeniably, many people got pending loans in banks, lending companies, and government agencies. The good thing is that most of these firms offered a grace period to their clients in line with the “Bayanihan To Heal As One” Act.
One of the government institutions that offered grace period is the Pag-IBIG Fund. In fact, 4.8 million Pag-IBIG Fund loan clients were granted grace period amid the quarantine in the Philippines.
Aside from granting a grace period to loan payments, the government institution also granted loans. It has approved total loans amounting to P716-million amid the pandemic.
