- an active SSS member
- at least 36 monthly contributions posted
- 24 straight contributions in the period prior to the application
- not recipient of previous house repair loan by SSS or NHMFC
- not recipient of SSS benefits
- borrower / spouse has updated SSS account
Step 2 – Visit the nearest SSS branch or SSS-accredited institutions.
Go to the nearest branch of SSS or any of the following to apply for the SSS loan:
- Philippine Veterans Bank
- Land Bank of the Philippines
- Planters Development Bank
- Valiant Rural Bank – Iloilo
Step 3 – Inform an SSS or bank staff of your purpose.
You will be given certain forms to fill in like the loan application form. Some requirements may also be asked. Submit the duly-accomplished form and the documents required from you.
Step 4 – Wait for the loan proceeds.
The SSS may notify you once the loan proceeds is already available for pick-up or delivery. You may also follow-up it once in a while.
