Guide on BPI Cash Loan Requirements for Employed and Self-Employed Borrowers
BPI CASH LOAN REQUIREMENTS – Provided below is the list of documents required by BPI depending if the borrower is employed or self-employed.
One of the trusted banks in the country, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), is an entity that people can turn to for loan for several purposes. It has loans that serve specific while it also has a multi-purpose loan – the Personal Loan or Cash Loan offer.
The bank extends its cash loan offer to both individuals who are employed and those who are self-employed, including Filipinos who are working overseas.
The BPI Cash Loan requirements vary depending if the borrower is employed or self-employed. The lists of the required documents differ with regards to the proof of income which will be used by the bank in the evaluation of the loan applicant’s capacity for the offer.
If you are employed, the following documents are required in applying for the loan offer:
- duly-accomplished BPI Personal Loan Application Form
- valid ID issued by the Philippine government (with photo and signature)
- latest three (3) months payslips or latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Form 2316
With regards to self-employed loan applicants, here are the documents needed in applying for the loan:
- duly-accomplished BPI Personal Loan Application Form
- valid ID issued by the Philippine government (with photo and signature)
- 3 years of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) or latest ITR
- Business Registration Certificate issued by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) or the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC)
To avail the BPI loan offer, kindly visit the nearest bank branch and submit the required documents. The loan application will be processed within approximately five to seven working days. The bank will provide updates on the status of your application.
