BPI Advisory on Systems Maintenance Upgrade
BPI – The Bank of the Philippine Islands released an advisory on the upcoming systems maintenance activities it will hold this June 13-14, 2021.
One of the biggest banks in the country is the Bank of the Philippine Islands or more commonly known as BPI. It has several branches nationwide and a lot of people got accounts in the said bank.
In terms of capitalization, this universal bank is one of the giants and the same thing goes in terms of assets. It is one of the most profitable banking companies in the country and its main headquarter is in Makati.
BPI offers several types of accounts such as savings, checking, and time deposit accounts. It also got bank accounts for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). The bank also offer loans, credit cards, and investment products.
Like other banks, the universal bank also undergo system maintenance upgrade to serve its clients better. During this periods, certain services may be unavailable.
According to the Bank of the Philippine Islands, it has an upcoming system maintenance upgrade this June 13 to June 14, 2021. BPI stated in its advisory the specific time of the maintenance activities:
- June 13, 2021 – 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- June 14, 2021 – 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The bank also noted in its advisory that during the system maintenance upgrade, its automated teller machines (ATMs), cash accept machines (CAMs), and in-store and online purchases with the use of their debit card may not be available. Meanwhile, its online and mobile app and as well as the credit and prepaid services using ATMs of other banks will remain available.
