Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, GCash affirmed that it will use local dialects in its goal for hyper localization. The Ayala-led fintech also wants to employ more localized marketing activities and make certain services like sending and receiving money, investment, insurance, and lending available to a wider range of people.

GCash President and CEO Martha Sazon said that they plan to go to the provinces as they want the financial services offered through the virtual wallet app to reach even the wet market vendors, local traders, and tricycle drivers. Currently, the app has 69 million users and 5.2 million merchants and local sellers.
