BILLIONAIRE JEFF BEZOS – The 58-year-old Amazon Founder announced that he will donate most of his wealth to charity.

There are individuals who are among the richest people in their country but there are also those who are among the wealthiest individuals across the globe. One of them is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Born in New Mexico, United States, Jeff who got his education from River Oaks Elementary School, Miamo Palmetto Senior High School, and Princeton University grew to become an entrepreneur, investor, media proprietor, commercial astronaut, and computer engineer.

Aside from being a billionaire, Jeff Bezos is also most popular as the founder, executive chairman, and former president and chief-exective-officer of Amazon, one of the biggest online marketing platforms across the globe.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, billionaire Jeff Bezos’ riches hit $124 billion. Recently, the Amazon founder made a statement that he will donate most of his wealth to charity.

According to Bezos, donating his wealth effectively may be challenging. Talking to CNN, he revealed that “building the capacity to be able to give away this money” is what he and his partner, Lauren Sanchez, are currently working on. Meanwhile, the 58-year-old Amazon founder answered in affirmation that he will give away most of his riches within this lifetime.

In 2019, Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, made a pledge to donate half of her riches after their divorce. Based on the report, she committed to Giving Pledge, an initiative led by billionaires Bill Gates and Warren Buffet which encourages the wealthiest people to pledge to giving most of their riches to charities.

The said initiative led by Gates and Buffet has more than 230 signatories from 28 nations. Russian steel magnate Vladimir Potanin and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal are among the signatories of the pledge.
