To help some of its members, the Social Security System launched the Small Business Wage Subsidy, an SSS cash aid. Employers who are struggling to assist their employees financially amid the crisis may apply for it to.
The application for the SSS Business Wage Subsidy is already closed and the social insurance institution is done processing the first tranche. It is ready to process the 2nd tranche.
Based on an article on Bombo Radyo Bacolod, under the Small Business Wage Subsidy, the beneficiary may receive from Php 5,000.00 to Php 8,000.00 as SSS cash aid. Beneficiaries in Negros Occidental will receive Php 6,000.00.
According to the article, the middle class earners are the priorities for the SSS cash aid. It is because lower class earners may apply for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Mam is there any possibility that you can extend the application for they cash aid? Because we apply for the camp from dole but we are not able to accomodate and the said they will forward those company who are not approved by dole. I would like to ask why I was not qualified to avail this help when I don’t get anything from Dole and DSWD SAP. The Dswd who was.assigned here in ACacia MAlabon outright reject me when I told him that I was working and have a senior citizen husband. I even told him that our company was rejected in DOLE and SSS Help because they said we are belong to a large tax payer company. h seven told me to file a complain in DOLE why they did not give us a help. I was also affected because I don’t have any money to earned when they implement the Ecq. I have a son and a mother who has a maintenance because of her health. What about self employed o voluntary member hindi po kami nakakuha ng cash aid from dswd (SAP) sana naman po matulungan nyo naman po kami isa po kami sa mga no work no pay. Sana naman po mabigyan nyo kami ng tulong

Ask ko lng po kng pd ako mka aply sa cnasabe nu na subsidy sss member po ako at 68 yrs old na po ako pero hindi pa ako pensioner at tnatapos ko pa ang 120 mos sa hulog ko para magkaroon ako pension this year matapos na po ako sa 120 mos.
