DSWD STUDENT CASH ASSISTANCE – Here is a list of how much you may get from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Monday, August 22, will be the first day of classes in public elementary and secondary schools. The Department of Education (DepEd) set blended learning in schools from August until October 31. Schools are ordered to implement blended learning – a mixture of distance learning (online classes and modules) and in-person classes.
By November, DepEd wants the implementation of full face-to-face classes. Parents and students are now busy procuring the things that the students will be needing in school. However, there is an increase in the prices of school supplies.
The education department previously called for school supply donations from the private sector which could be a big help for students who cannot really buy the things that they will need for school. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) came up with a six-week program to help poor students.
The DSWD Student Cash Assistance will benefit elementary and high school students and as well as students of vocational schools and state colleges. The pay-out is set for August 20, 27, and September 3, 10, 17, and 24.

How much the beneficiaries may get under the DSWD Student Cash Assistance? It will depend on the year level of the student. The following are the financial assistance amounts:
- Elementary Student – P1,000
- Junior High School – P2,000
- Senior High School – P3,000
- College / Vocational Students – P4,000
To apply, you must prepare the following and submit them to a branch of DSWD or their satellite center nearest to you:
- enrollment form
- authorization letter in case the applicant will not be able to come
- valid ID of the parents
- valid ID of the student
