In its pursuit to help the underprivilege college students as well as the students in other educational areas, the Department of Social Welfare and Development launched the DSWD Educational Assistance program. It provides a financial aid for qualified recipients.

The DSWD has set considerations in extending its assistance for the students. Here are the eligibility criteria set by the government agency:

The DSWD Educational Cash Aid can be used in the educational costs of the student including the tuition and textbooks.

The DSWD has set documentary requirements in applying for its assistance offer. You must prepare and submit the following:

  • enrollment form
  • authorization letter in case the applicant will not be able to come
  • valid ID of the parents
  • valid ID of the student

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) allows online applications or registrations under its Educational Assistance offer.
