GSIS Emergency Loan Open for Members & Pensioners in Typhoon-Hit Areas
GSIS EMERGENCY LOAN – Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) members and pensioners in areas affected by the typhoon may apply for this loan offer.
The impact of the recent typhoons that hit the Philippines was unexpected. Tropical storm Rolly was eyed as a super typhoon and it brought massive rains to several areas in the country.
However, while some of the areas hit by Rolly have yet to recover, they were once again struck by another tropical storm – Typhoon Ulysses. The said tropical storm brought strong winds and massive rain.
Some areas in Marikina, Cagayan, and Rizal faced the same fate – many residents had to climb their rooftops to escape from the rising water level.
Sadly, many individuals lost their lives amid the onslaught of the typhoons. A lot of families also lost their homes and their source of living and have nothing to start with now.
To help ease the burden of its members and pensioners who were affected by the typhoon, the Government Service Insurance System opened the GSIS Emergency Loan.
Under the said loan offer, members and pensioners may borrow an amount that could help them cope with the demands of starting again following the impacts of the typhoon.
Qualifications in Applying:
- in active service
- not on a leave of absence without pay
- have no pending administrative case
- have a net take-home pay of not lower than Php 5,000.00 after all required monthly responsibilities were deducted
