Update on Releasing of GSIS Pensioners Cash Gift This December 2020
GSIS PENSIONERS CASH GIFT – The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) clarified that the releasing of the Christmas Cash Gift is not yet today.
Aside from the working people awaiting their 13th month pay and bonuses this December, pensioners also await their 13th month pay and cash gifts. Among these are the pensioners of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
Every December, pensioners of the GSIS receive a pretty good amount aside from their pension for the month. It greatly helps the seniors during the holiday season and as well as cope with their other expenses most especially for their maintenance and vitamins.
For this year, previously, reports that the GSIS Pensioners Cash Gift may be released today crossed the surface. However, the state-run institution recently made a clarification.
Based on a report on GMA News, the Government Service Insurance System clarified that the releasing of the GSIS Pensioners Cash Gift is not yet today but what they meant was the processing will start today.
According to GSIS Core Business-Sector Executive Vice President Nora Malubay, the pensioners may receive their cash gifts on or before December 12. The state-run institution is really trying to release the pensioners’ cash gift by December 8.
With regards to the amount that pensioners may receive, GSIS has previously released information about it.
