GSIS Pensioners To Receive Bigger Amount This Month, GSIS President Says
GSIS PENSIONERS – The pensioners of the Government Service Insurance System will receive a bigger amount this December 2020.
Not only the working individuals await cash gifts and Christmas bonuses this December. Many pensioners will also receive certain amounts because of their membership to social insurance institutions.
Among these pensioners are those who are receiving their monthly pension from the Government Service Insurance System. It is called as the “cash gift” and is usually released within the first and second weeks of December.
According to GSIS President and General Manager Rolando Macasaet, the GSIS pensioners will receive a bigger amount this December 2020.
Macasaet explained that aside from the GSIS Christmas Cash Gift and their December pension, there is also no loan deduction this month as part of the implementation of the loan moratorium amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The GSIS President said that GSIS pensioners will receive their monthly pension in full now amid the implementation of the loan moratorium. With regards to the cash gift, the amount that a pensioner will receive may be estimated through the previous cash gift.

According to GSIS, they have already started with the processing the requirements of the Christmas cash gift and once they are done with it, it may be credited to the accounts of the qualified recipients. They can withdraw it through their eCards together with their monthly pension.
