Guide on LTO Portal “LTMS” Registration for Convenient Processing
LTO PORTAL – Here is a guide on how to register to the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) online portal.
One of the government agencies that cater services to thousands of people daily is the Land Transportation Office, more popularly called LTO. It is the governing body with regards to the driving and traffic rules in the country. It has set the LTO Penalty Fees 2023.
There are a lot of different processes that take place in LTO offices daily – applications for driver’s license, renewal of driver’s license, car registration, vehicle test drives, etc. Thus, the government agency put up an online platform where the drivers and vehicle owners can begin certain processes — the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) Portal or also called the LTO Portal.
You need to register to the LTO Portal to avail the services offered by the Land Transportation Office online. You can check the process below.
Go to LTMS Portal online
Go to the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS Portal) website. You can access the portal whether you are using a computer or a mobile phone. However, it is best to secure a stable internet connection when accessing the website to avoid registration problems and wasted time and efforts.
Click the “Register Now” Button
There are two (2) buttons that will be displayed — the “Register Now” and the ‘Log In” buttons. Click the button in red or the “Register Now” button. You can sign up on the LTO portal whether or not you have a driver’s license issued by the Land Transportation Office.
Read the Terms and Conditions
Read the Terms of Service and tick the box if you agree with them. Complete this phase by providing the CAPTCHA to prove that you are not a robot.
Enter your Driver’s License Details
If you already have a Driver’s License, click “Yes” and fill out the online form by providing the information requested. If none, click “No” and proceed with the registration. Fill out the form with all the necessary information asked.
Make sure you will indicate a working email address. It will aid you in accessing your LTO portal account in case you forget your password.
Verify your Account
Activate or verify your account by accessing your email address and clicking on the verification email that will be sent by the LTO. You will be asked to generate an eight-character password. You will receive the verification email within 24 hours since you registered for an account at LTMS.
