Undeniably, in the Philippines, there are a lot of women who focus in taking care of the households — but this does not mean they work less. In fact, being a wife and a mother is a job that has no salary, no dayoff, and bears a 24/7 willingness to attend to the needs of all the other members of the family. Thus, several state entities open their membership to non-working spouses of their members.
