PHILHEALTH CONTRIBUTION 2021 – Here is a guide on the PhilHealth contribution of employees earning Php 10,000.00 and below.

One of the government agencies with a lot of members is the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation or more commonly called as PhilHealth. A huge part of the populace is a member of the institution.

This January, PhilHealth is set to implement an increase on the member’s monthly contribution. From 3%, the monthly contribution is set to increase to 3.5%.

If you are earning Php 10,000.00 and below, under the PhilHealth contribution 2021, the monthly contribution of the member will be Php 350.00. It will be shared between the employee and the employer.

It will be a 50-50 share between the employee and the employer or Php 175.00 each every month.

However, currently, there are calls to suspend the increase on PhilHealth’s contribution rate. Many members are not in favor of it amid the pandemic and some are disappointed following the corruption issues.

There were allegations of overpriced purchasing of laptops. As for the government agency, the incidents have brought changes to the institution and a new chief is leading it. Meanwhile, it respects the people’s sentiments with regards to public trust.
