The Social Security System (SSS) members who are working or living in the aforementioned calamity-stricken areas may apply for an SSS Calamity Loan online. The said offer is opened for members who have posted at least 36 monthly contributions or savings.

How to apply for SSS Calamity Loan Online? The SSS members who are working or living in areas declared under a State of Calamity and wish to apply for the said offer may follow the steps below:

Step 1 – List down your SSS Number on a piece of paper.
Step 2 – Open an internet browser and go to the official website of the Social Security System (SSS).
Step 3 – Sign up for an SSS account. Keep a record of your user ID and password.
Step 4 – Log in to your SSS account using your user ID and password.
Step 5 – Click the loan offer you want to apply for. In this case, click the “Calamity Loan”.
Step 6 – Enter your preferred mode of receiving your loan proceeds.

  1. I am from Laguna – CaLaBaRZon (IV-A) but I checked the SSS website , it says that I am not eligible since my area is not in the calamity zone area. Is that means it is not yet updated?

  2. I tried it and it says: Your registered home or mailing address is not among the declared calamity areas. My registered address is in Laguna and hoping this gets updated to get repairs done in the house. Paeng was one traumatic experience for us.

    • we’re in Laguna too and we rarely get flooded inside the house but Paeng traumatized me, water got inside the house it was scary. When is sss gonna update their site? Please let me know if you can access the calamity loan.

  3. I’ve tried to apply but it says: Your registered home or mailing address is not among the declared calamity areas as of now wherein my address is Santa Rosa City Laguna both national and local government declared that we are under of state of calamity. Im hoping for your fast response

  5. I am from Laguna also and has the same issue with calamity remarks from SSS.

    Is there any chance to get mailing address to be updated automatically or we need to check it personally to SSS office?
