The SSS Table 2023 for Member’s Monthly Contribution Rates Based on Source, Amount of Income

SSS TABLE 2023 – Here is a full list of the monthly contribution rates set by the Social Security System for the members.

The Social Security System is one of the government agencies in the Philippines with a huge number of member populace. Its members are coming from different fields — local employees, self-employed individuals, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), non-working spouse, and voluntary members.

Every month, the members of the Social Security System submit a contribution to the state-run social insurance agency. The contributions amount depend on the rates set by the state entity. From time to time, there are changes on the rates depending on the mandate of the SSS or the national government.

An active and update account can qualify a member to the SSS benefits and the SSS loans of the state institution. The SSS Table 2023 has been released and you can check on the rates implemented by the social insurance institution below.

In the case of SSS members who are working in the private companies in the Philippines, their employers pay for a part of their monthly contribution. The amount of compensation that the member receives in a month is a factor on the rates.

It is the same case with the monthly contributions of the household employees or “kasambahay” members of the state-run social insurance agency. Based on the SSS Table 2023, the household employers also has a part in the monthly contribution of their household employees.

With regards to the Land-based OFW members of the Social Security System, some members may have already paid for the contributions in advance based on the old rates set. According to the SSS, the members “with advance payment at the minimum of ₱8,000.00 shall settle underpayment amounting to ₱80.00 to retain the posting
of contributions at the same minimum MSC”.

On another case, those SSS members who have paid an advance payment that is under an MSC that is other than the P8,000 minimum has the option to pay the raise in the contributions to retain the posting at the same MSC.

With regards to self-employed members who have posted their contributions in advance based on the old rates set, for the retention of the posting of contributions to the new MSC of P4,000, they shall settle an underpayment amounting to P170.00.

The self-employed members who made advance payments at an MSC other than the P3,000 minimum, there is an option to “pay the corresponding increase in contributions
to retain posting at the same MSC” as per the SSS Table 2023.
