DISABILITY CLAIM SSS – Here’s a guide in applying for the Social Security System (SSS) Disability Benefit and the requirements.
Millions of employed and self-employed Filipinos are members of the Social Security System, more popularly called SSS. These locally-employed members are mostly employees in the private sector.
The SSS also has overseas Filipino worker (OFW) members as well as voluntary members and members who are working as household helpers. Every month, they post a monthly contribution to the state-run social insurance institution based on the rates set in the SSS Table 2023.
