SSS CALAMITY LOAN – The Social Security System will continue accepting loan applications until September 14.

A lot of people were greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic or coronavirus crisis in the Philippines now. Many people lost their jobs as businesses struggle amid the crisis.

The said amount can help the members cope with their household expenses amid the crisis. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, members may apply for the Calamity Loan until September 14.

According to SSS President Aurora Ignacio, they have already granted a total of Php 5.4 million loans to 346,375 members of the social insurance institution.

With regards to the qualifications in applying for this loan offer, the member must have contributed in the last three (3) years. Based on the report, six (6) months of the member’s contribution must have been posted within the last 12 months before the application.
