SSS Pension for December & 13th Month Set for Release Starting December 1
SSS – The Social Security System is set to release the December pension of pensioners and their 13th month starting December 1.
A lot of people who have retired from work are receiving pension monthly from the Social Security System. More commonly called as SSS, it is one of the biggest social insurance institutions in the country.
Most members of the SSS are working in the private sector. Some are voluntary members. Monthly, the members of the social insurance institution remit a certain amount depending on their salary.
Accumulated remittance to the social insurance institution will qualify a member for the SSS benefits and loans. Undeniably, the pension is the benefit that most members are looking forward to.
Now that another month is about to start, the Social Security System gave an update on the releasing of the SSS pension. The pensioners of the state-run institution will also be receiving their 13th month pension next month.
According to SSS, the releasing of the December pension and the 13th month will begin in December 1. Aurora Ignacio, the president and chief executive officer of the state-run firm, said that they are currently on the process of transferring the funds to the Development Bank of the Philippines.
Ignacio further said that the pensions are already withdrawable starting December 1 for the first batch of pensioners. For the second batch of pensioners, they can withdraw it starting December 16.

Kasali po ba ako sa program ng SSS na 13th mo pay? Hindi pa po ako nag ppension kasi d pa kumpleto ang bayad ko sa SSS. 64YRS old na po ako.. Pwede po ba ako makakuha ng 13th month pay or pasok po ba ako sa programang ito?

My father died last november 16, 2019 we claim the burial but the pension cut off last february 2020 while we are processing his papers for death claim & transfer for my mother as survivor. We submit the our claims yesterday november 26, 2020, can my mother claim all the benefits including 13th month? Pension from february 2020 up to now?
