The Manila Zoo is a 5.5 hectare zoo located in Malate, Manila. It operated since 1959 and was recently renovated. It is a home to a lot of animals you can often only publicly see through this animal sanctuary.

  • Students – Php 100.00
  • Senior Citizens and PWDs (Discounted Rate of 20%) – Php 120.00
  • Children two (2) years old and below (registration not required) – FREE
  • Manila LGU Employese/Teachers under Manila Division of City Schools – Php 100.00

For non-Manila residents, there is a separate set of rates you need to pay to purchase a ticket for entry to the zoo. Here is the Manila Zoo entrance fee for non-Manila residents:

  • Students – Php 200.00
  • Senior Citizens and PWDs (Discounted Rate of 20%) – Php 240.00

Manila Zoo values the safety and welfare of the animals. Thus, it has set some rules that visitors must abide on such as the following:

  1. Respect the animals.
  2. Do not fee the animals.
  3. No littering inside the zoo.
  4. Pets are not allowed to enter the zoo.
  5. No outside food and drinks.
  6. Children must be supervised by adults at all times.
  7. Stepping on the grass is not allowed.
  8. Do not pluck the flowers.
  9. Toys including balloons are not allowed inside the zoo premises.
