The Pag-IBIG Fund is one of the biggest government agencies in the Philippines. Millions of Filipinos in the country are members of this government agency. There are also Pinoys working abroad or overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who are members of the state institution.

The Pag-IBIG contribution for OFW members of the state-run social insurance agency depends if the employer is subject to a mandatory Pag-IBIG coverage or not. There are several overseas employers including those in the maritime industry who are subject to support the members in their monthly contributions.
