Guide Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card versus the Plus Versions

PAG-IBIG LOYALTY CARD – Here is a guide on its difference from the Plus cards issued by the Pag-IBIG Fund, Asia United Bank (AUB), and UnionBank.

In the Philippines, millions of Filipinos coming from different walks of life are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund. This government agency has stood for decades already and provides several loan offers that address the common need of its members.

The Fund has the Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan offer, a multi-purpose cash loan offer of the government agency. But, among its many offers, it is most popular for its Pag-IBIG Housing Loan offer that has helped a lot of Filipino families obtain residential properties through affordable installment schemes.

If you are a member of the Pag-IBIG Fund, apart from the loans, you may also avail an ID card that you may use in several transactions — loan applications, claiming of benefits, getting another ID, etc. It also qualifies a member to the discounts and promos offered by the partners of the Fund. The card is called the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card which has the following features:

  • No expiration
  • official ID for all Pag-IBIG Fund members
  • Fee in getting card is ₱125
  • without EMV chip

The Pag-IBIG Fund has collaborated with banks like the Asia United Bank, more popularly known as AUB, and the UnionBank that paved the way for the launching of the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus.

To get any of the aforementioned cards, there are Pag-IBIG ID requirements that you must prepare. These include both eligibility requirements and documentary requirements for ID card processing.

Please be reminded not to consider the PhilHealth ID and TIN ID in processing your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card or its Plus version. The Pag-IBIG Fund does not consider these two (2) government-issued IDs for such processing.
