Most SSS Online Services Currently Suspended Now
SSS ONLINE – The Social Security System, a social insurance institution in the Philippines, suspended most of its online services.
Amid the COVID-19 crisis, a lot of people are struggling financially. That is why the national government lodged the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) was tasked to lead the said program. Millions of beneficiaries received cash as an assistance amid the coronavirus crisis in the country.
A lot of people most especially those who are working in a no-work-no-pay basis lost their income due to the crisis. Many non-essential businesses temporarily suspended their operation so people would stay at home.
Aside from the Social Amelioration Program, several government agencies also offer assistance amid the coronavirus crisis in the country. One of these institutions is the Social Security System or more commonly called as SSS.
SSS offers calamity loan and as well as a Small Business Wage Subsidy amid the COVID-19 crisis. Both of these are cash assistances.
According to the social insurance institution, currently, most of their SSS online services are suspended. It is to give way to the applications for the SSS Business Wage Subsidy.
Meanwhile, SSS assured that their other services which can be availed through their website will resume soon.

Can I avail the calamity loan even my reconstructed salary loan has not yet settled due to wrong account number written in the payment form through Bayad Center. I requested for the retrieval of reciept of payment. But ECQ came.
