Based on a report on Business Mirror, SSS President Aurora Ignacio said that they have already asked the non-Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESONet) banks to release the cash gift and the Philippine Postal Corp. (PhilPost) to expedite the delivery of the pensioners’ checks.
Even the pensioners whose pension is under a suspended status now may receive the 13th month pay. Based on the article, Ignacio said that they will get it on a later date – December 16, 2020.
“For our pensioners, this is the time to enjoy their benefits with their dearest families and relatives,” the SSS President said.
