Pag-IBIG Fund members may apply for the Calamity Loan offer of the government agency in times of natural disaster or pandemic. The requirements in applying for the said loan offer differs depending if the borrower is locally employed, self-employed, or an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).

If you are locally employed, you must prepare and submit these requirements for Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan offer:

  • original copy of a duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form
  • photocopy of a valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income
    • The “Certificate of Net Pay” which is located at the back of the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form must have been accomplished by your employer. Otherwise, you can submit a photocopy of one (1) of your latest payslip authenticated by an authorized signatory of the company you are working at.

    • Income Tax Return (ITR), Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registrant and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit (in photocopy)
    • Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business (in original copy)
    • Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months (in original copy)

Even if you are an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in abroad when the natural disaster or pandemic hit your residential area, you may apply for the offer. Here are the requirements for Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan for OFW applicants:

  • original copy of a duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form
  • photocopy of a valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income – submit any of the following:
    • Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
    • Employment Contract
    • Income Tax Return filed with Host Country/Government
