SSS HOUSING LOAN REQUIREMENTS – Here is a list of the documents that you must prepare and submit in applying for SSS Housing Loan.
The Social Security System (SSS) has a housing loan offer for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). It is open for both socialized housing loan and low-cost housing loan. The loan is payable for up to 15 years.
In applying for an SSS Housing Loan, an OFW applicant have documents to prepare and submit. Here is a guide on the documents needed:
- In original copies:
- Certificate of Loan Eligibility (CLE)
- Deed of Sale or Contract to Sell with statement of latest balance for purchase of lot or house and l
- Mortgagor’s Application for Housing Loan with 1” x 1” ID pictures of Principal Applicant and Spouse
- Certification from POEA/DOLE/OWWA/ SSS Foreign Representative Office or Philippine Embassy/Consular Office
- Certificate of Acceptance and Occupancy duly signed by the borrower if house is 100% complete at the time of loan filing
- Appraisal Report from Home Guaranty Corporation accredited appraisal companies
- In original and photocopy:
- owner’s copy of the TCT/OCT/CCT
- latest Contract of Employment and latest Employer’s Certification duly authenticated by Phil. Consulate
- latest Property Tax Declaration and Realty Tax Receipt
- certified true copy of TCT/OCT/CCT issued by the Register of Deeds
- Other SSS Housing Loan Requirements:
- Tax Mapping/Subdivision Plan
- Lot plan with vicinity map duly signed and sealed by Registered Surveyor or Geodetic Engineer (Blue Print)
- Twelve (12) postdated checks covering twelve (12) monthly installments and shall be repeated every twelve (12) months thereafter until the loan is fully paid
- Building plans/specifications/picture of the house (Blue Print)
- Affidavit of Undertaking to continue paying monthly SSS premium contributions for the duration of housing loan
According to SSS, if you are filing your loan application through a representative, the representative must present the duly-notarized Special Power of Attorney.
